About Moving Meditation
About Moving Meditation
Most approaches to calm start from the top down — trying to quiet the mind with thoughts or stillness.
Moving Meditation takes the opposite path. By giving your body something purposeful to do — to balance, coordinate, and breathe through — the mind naturally settles.
In each class, you’ll combine gentle Chi Gong–inspired movements with breathwork, balance, and stability exercises. You’ll learn how to adjust the level of challenge or support, so every session meets you exactly where you are that day.
This is mindful movement for real bodies — not about pushing through pain, but about discovering what steadiness feels like when your body and mind are finally working together.

“No pain no gain”
is dead wrong

Give the body enough to do and the mind will be quiet...
Each class blends simple, full-body movements with coordinated breathwork and balance training.
You’ll learn how to adjust support or difficulty so that every session challenges you, but never hurts.
This isn’t yoga, and it’s not the gym. It’s mindful, functional movement designed to help you feel grounded, capable, and calm.

Billy Wiegand, RMT
Hi, I’m Billy, a Registered Massage Therapist and personal trainer who helps people rebuild trust in their bodies through safe, functional movement.
After recovering from a serious back injury in my twenties that left me unable to stand for more than thirty minutes, I learned how to listen to my body and rebuild from the inside out.
Now, I combine my lived experience with training in movement therapy, Chi Gong, and functional strength to help others do the same.
My philosophy is simple; Exercise shouldn’t hurt. It should be a space to explore, learn, and grow — not to punish or push through pain. I’ll teach you how to stay in the learning zone — where you’re challenged but safe — so you can move forward with confidence and calm.

"I always look forward to my Training sessions with Billy. He has helped me with some specific aches and pains and my overall health, but mostly with learning to manage my breath.
I frequently use the meditation tools that he showed me to manage my stress and emotions. My wife has noticed a big difference in me since we started"

"The thing I like most about training with Billy is that he teaches me how to listen to my body. I am getting much better at knowing when to push and when to stop, both in the gym and in life. He has a great understanding of the emotional experience of recovering from injury and chronic pain.
I also love that it's fun! I never thought I'd be lifting weights over my head while on a balance board, on one foot!"

"Billy led the cast through a series of breathing and meditation exercises to prepare them for the stress of being on-camera. This helped the group open up and bond, but also gave us tools to use throughout the filming process to manage stress and stay in our element.
I cant reccomend enough that you try out a Moving Meditation class. I still use one of the exercises he taught us to this day."
